Click to viewThere are so many things dead wrong with this video that I don't know where to begin. But one of the stand-outs is the assertion by the narrator that this, that, and the other thing happened in such and such a way with no evidence to back it up, such as life coming to Earth from extrasolar worlds, worlds tens or hundreds or thousands of light-years away from Earth, traveling at what would have to be very slow speeds as far as covering cosmic distances goes. Another is the implicit assumption that all mass extinctions on Earth have been caused by the impacts of comets and/or asteroids, when in fact it's now clear that the worst mass extinction in Earth's history, the End-Permian extinctions, were due to catastrophic climate change combined with toxic gases from flood basalt eruptions and sulfur and methanogen bacteria in the shallows of Earth's giant ocean, Panthalassa. And so on and on and on. This video, like one I posted earlier, created, narrated, and put out by the same people (see http://polaris93.livejournal.com/1779499.html for that video and my critique of it), is a New Age polemic disguised as supposed scientific dogma which agrees with certain New Age teachings, but which, in fact, modern science does not -- this "dogma" is anything but currently accepted scientific thought and theory.
