Full Transcript I watched President Bush's eighth and final State of the Union Address this evening, and it was an interesting one. It made me wonder how different next year's Address may be, depending upon who is elected President and from which party.
One thing does puzzle me... do the individuals, specifically the members of Congress, not realize that they are on live television and could, at any moment, be focused on by the cameras? Some of the facial expressions of the congressmen, congresswomen, and others present in the close-ups certainly displayed their boredom, displeasure, inattentiveness, and a slew of other emotions. I missed Barack Obama's close-up (I was multi-tasking and was also on the computer), but Hillary Clinton looked either grumpy, bored, or morose and she clapped only begrudgingly.
Like I said, the Address was interesting.
