Christmas Eve! The day is upon us, folks. I hope you've all had a good time reading along up to this point. If you're not done shopping yet it's your last chance to brave the crowds and make a mad dash out to the store. Maybe my journal has given you some ideas for fun stuff to do tonight. I hope you've at least gotten some enjoyment out of the pictures of me making faces at food and drinks!
I spent last night up near Atlanta with some of my best friends. We attended a holiday party and, in lieu of waxing nostalgic about something tonight, I figured I'd share some of the photos from our Jones Soda tasting session. The special Jones Christmas pack, available only online this year, included Sugarplum, Egg Nog, Christmas Tree and Christmas Ham-flavored sodas. Sugarplum was pretty tasty...Egg Nog was relatively neutral. Christmas Ham and Tree, on the other hand, were entirely foul. The Ham Soda had a killer aftertaste, and the smell was worse than you'd expect. The Christmas Tree-flavored soda had an interesting smell, but tasted an awful lot like Pine-Sol. Or, I suppose, what you'd imagine Pine-Sol to taste like. It was no fun to drink. The pictures with the faces of disgust can be attributed to these two selections...Ham and Tree. People, take my advice...if the opportunity ever presents itself, avoid Ham Soda. Enjoy the photos and have a great Christmas Eve!
The next-to-last entry in our Commercial Countdown is another instance of Ebenezer Scrooge trying to ruin a perfectly good breakfast cereal. Take a look!

"I say...did you say honey and nuts?" This is my second-favorite Christmas commercial of all time. Honey Nut Cheerios are pretty good any time of year, but when you see how they warm the heart of crusty old Scrooge, they're that much better. And check out the costume on Buzz...he's even dressed like Bob Cratchit! This commercial is great. 'Nuff said. Have an awesome Christmas Eve, everybody! Let me know what you're doing in the comments here...I wanna see some holiday cheer!
Merry Christmas!
