UM Tennis!!!

Although as a whole, the Upper Merion tennis team came away pretty badly against Hatboro-Horsham, the 3rd varsity doubles team of Glen Lewis and Ankit Disa provided a bright spot with their exciting 3-set victory 2-6, 6-1, 7-5. Ankit Disa, despite playing with an injured finger on his racket hand, helped to propel the doubles team to victory with his serving and determination towards the end of the match. All of the other varsity competitors for Upper Merion lost, however, leaving with a record of 3-3.

But despite the outstanding effort by the two players, Ms. Schnure, coach of the Vikings Tennis Team, made an executive decision to not play them at the 3rd varsity doubles position for the next two matches, and giving the two a giant middle finger right in their faces after leaving with the team's only varsity victory on Monday. The two players had this to say to Ms. Schnure after they heard the news, "Screw You."

Oh well, I'm both really happy for winning and REALLY PISSED b/c of Ms. Schnure.
