i really wanted post something, so i'm posting fics i started and never completed. some of the excuses reasons why i haven't finished and posted these fics is because i'm lazy, no time, lack of motivation, i didn't like it, and i have no idea what i was trying to write.
all the fics under the cut are unbeta'd. you have been warned.
incompleted fic #1 - shinee; onho (onew/minho)
there was something odd about jinki, minho’s neighbour who recently moved in three weeks ago. maybe it was because the only time he got to see jinki was in the evening when he came home from soccer practise. he looked like somebody who was around minho’s age, and he didn’t understand why he didn’t go to school either, and how jinki would always go outside wearing a sweater, jeans, and sandals in the middle of winter. everything was weird about the other male.
he had no idea why he was so interested in him, he had no idea why he was following the other male down dark streets and alleys.
minho and jinki met once, it was when his parents brought over a homemade apple pie welcoming them to the neighbourhood. jinki had answered the door, his expression was emotionless and his voice was very quiet, so quiet they had to ask him to repeat what he just said.
incompleted fic #2 - shinee; onho (onew/minho)
minho stopped in front of a small coffee shop, looking at the simple hangul written on the door that says 'open'. he took a deep breath then entered into the cafe. it is minho's first day at work. the bell rang when minho made his entrance.
he glanced around the cafe and only noticed a few people were sitting at tables, there was only one worker who was wiping down a table, the worker looked up once he heard the bell rang then greeted minho with a smile.
that smile. minho's heart suddenly skipped a beat, he felt his cheeks getting warmer. how could anybody own such a perfect smile? minho found himself smiling back at him.
"how may i help you?" the smiley male walked behind the counter ready to take minho's order.
minho licked his dry lips, "my name is choi minho. today is my first day of work."
"oh, so you're choi minho!" the other male beamed, "my boss told me about you," he said without his smile leaving his face. "i'm lee jinki," he introduced himself and held his hand out for the other one to shake.
jinki looked at his watch timidly then bit on his bottom lip nervously. "i normally don't train new workers," jinki looked at his watch again. "kibum is in charge of that, but he's not here yet..." he trailed off then looked at minho apologetically.
suddenly the bell rang, both saw a "i'm sorry! i'm late, kill me."
incompleted fic #3 - boyfriend; jeongseong (jeongmin/hyunseong)
it's always the same answer, "i'm sorry jeongmin-ah, i would love to but," then insert something that has to do with bora. jeongmin is tired of it, since it happens all the time now. for the first couple of weeks, it was fine, but after a month, he's not going to lie, he's upset about it, jealous even.
incompleted fic #4 - 2pm; woosu (wooyoung/junsu)
junsu's throat felt like fire; a burning sensation fulled his lungs. every time he wanted to intake oxygen, he couldn't. it was as if he was drowning in hell and only could only inhale flames.
"keep him breathing!" the sounds of people were distant to junsu's ears.
it hurts, junsu thought, he squeezed his eyes shut and held his breath. inhaling oxygen is excruciating so junsu did the opposite, he held his breath.
the pain suddenly stopped and junsu was finally at ease.
--
an annoying, repetitive beeping noise and the stench of citrus lemon filled his nostrils woke junsu from his slumber. opening one eye after another, he was faced with an unfamiliar ceiling. he heard the sounds of feet shuffling down the hallway, it was no doubt that he was in a hospital, he let out a sigh.
junsu tried lifting his head to see the rest of the room, to only realise that he was unable to move. he groaned.
"don't move," a unfamiliar voice said.
junsu didn't bother to listen, he kept on trying.
"if you don't stop, i won't help you out."
"just wait here, i need to get someone." the other male said.
--
junsu couldn't wait any longer. not only was he bored and completely confused, he was felt isolated. there are a few things junsu doesn't like and one of them are hospitals
incompleted fic #5 - shinee; onho (onew/minho)
Minho knew Jinki back in elementary. He thought he was smart and friendly but he never understood why he was always alone or why people bothered him when he entered high school. He watches Jinki stumble into the classroom, the teacher sighs, then students snort and point at him when he walks past them to his desk. He keeps his head down, avoiding any eye contact with anybody and he pulls out his red notebook then starts writing.
High school sucks.
Jinki doesn’t have friends because friends eventually leave you. He doesn’t want to go through trouble with anybody so that’s why he’s always alone. So what’s there to lose when nobody knows your name?
Jinki writes everything in his notebook. He believes it’s the only thing that understands him. He writes in it every day, he doodles it in; he writes about his dreams, what he plans for the future, songs, what he did that day, what he’s thinking and he draws what he sees, what he wants to see. It explains everything about him.
He’s haunted by the same voices and faces. Every day he comes home from school with a new bruise. Something to remind him he’s still living, he should be immune but it still pains him.
His teachers say, “It’s just a phase.” He wants to laugh.
It’s just a phase.
--
Jinki had shut his locker door when heard a familiar chuckle, “Where are you going?” His voice is beautiful but the tone was disgusting, “Yah, look at me when I’m talking to you.” His voice echoed through the empty hallways. He couldn’t look; his body froze under the sound his voice.
Rough hands found his long strawberry glazed hair, his head was pulled back and he felt warm breath on his face, “Remember what happens when you don’t listen?” His voice was now low and hoarse. What was he supposed to remember? He doesn’t remember what he has for homework. He doesn’t even remember this guy, “Well?" Jinki felt a lump stuck in his throat, he couldn’t say anything.
There was a sudden tug at Jinki’s hair and soon was being controlled under the other male. Jinki whimpered under the other person’s grip as they walk through the depths of the empty school then into the male’s locker room. The aggressive male pushed Jinki onto the cold tiled floors, when he tried to get himself up only to get his head shoved back down to the floor.
Jinki’s vision started to blur, he let out a few sobs, “No.” He felt the other male tug at his hair again, “Aw, is poor Jinki-Winky crying?”
“Don’t,” he pleaded, hot tears streamed down his face, “Please.”
The forceful male shoved Jinki back down against the floor; this time Jinki didn’t bother getting up, he let his head rest on the dirty, cool tiled floor. He sobbed, hoping there’s a way out, hoping Super Man would bust through the walls and save him, but this is real life, super heroes don’t exist. Again the other male pulled his hair and dragged him into one the shower stalls.
incompleted fic #6 - shinee; onew
jinki's best 'subject' was magic, even though sucked at it.
"you've failed."
jinki sighed, he wasn't expecting to pass. in fact, he didn't know what he doing, abracadbra, was what he said exactly. nothing appeared in front of him, the other students laughed and he rubbed the back of his head feeling rather embarrassed.
he knows he should study but he doesn't like magic so he lets it slide.
incompleted fic #7 - shinee; onho (onew/minho)
he had a few dollars.
"what can we get with this?" minho sounds disappointed.
jinki feels more than guilty. he frowns.
minho eyes lightens up like he had the best idea ever, then he glances at jinki, without thinking he says, "wanna fly high?"
fly high? jinki questions himself. he doesn’t want to ask want minho trying to say. fly high... get high?
when jinki finally understands what minho said jinki's eyes widen in horror, his heart suddenly start to race, "uh... mmm," he couldn't form words. he knows he should say no, but something is stopping from him to saying so. is it because of minho? is it because he's curious?
"sure?"
incompleted fic #8 - shinee; onho (onew/minho)
minho sighed once the bandages were off his face, he kept his lead lowered letting his hair cover his eyes. minho looked down at his hands trying to adjust his eye sight, one, two, three... he counted his fingers one by one.
someone gently placed their hand over minho's, curious he glanced up and saw jinki. although he couldn't see his face clearly, he knew it was him. something told him that jinki had that worried expression.
jinki gave him a faint smile, "you can still see, right?" he cocked his head to the side, trying to read minho's expression. minho looks defeated. it broke jinki's heart, he wasn't the minho he knew...
jinki leaned forward and hugged him. he embraced minho with all his might, because he was scared and he didn't want minho to see him break down. jinki felt minho wrap his arms around him, and they stayed like for awhile.
minho pulled back to see jinki's face and he saw he shed a few tears, minho brought his hand up to cup jinki's face. he leaned into minho's touch, then minho wiped away his tears. he hated to see jinki cry.
minho once explained to jinki that he is, his sunshine, he brightens his world, made him feel warm, and made him see things he didn't notice before. he turned and pulled jinki into a chaste kiss.
"you didn't answer my question," jinki said when they pulled apart.
"hyung," minho started, "why?" jinki frowned from confusion. "why do you keep asking questions you already know the answers to?"
jinki lowered his head, "sorry."
incompleted fic #9 - shinee; taekey (taemin/key)
taemin stirred in his sleep as kibum carefully slid out of bed. the younger boy jolted up once he felt the warmth next to him disappear, he quickly clenched kibum’s shirt desperately, “where are you going?” he whispered, he was careful not to wake the others that were in the room.
“i’ll be back.” kibum smiled fondly at taemin, then leaned in to kiss taemin’s forehead. “i promise.” taemin’s lower lip quivered as he nodded his head.
“jinki and minho are here, you’ll be okay,” the older male said reassuringly as ran his fingers through taemin’s blonde hair.
taemin was still clinging onto kibum’s shirt, “i’m not so worried about myself,” he looked down, “but for you.” he mumbled.
kibum chuckled, “you’re so cute,” taemin felt his cheeks instantly heat up and hoped nobody was listening to what they were saying. the older male held taemin’s chin then kissed him gently.
--
kibum slid next to taemin their shared bed, he tried not to wake the younger male since it was the crack of dawn outside and it wasn’t time to wake taemin up either.
“you stink like blood,” taemin stated, he shifted so they were facing each other.
“sorry, i’ll go take a shower then,” kibum was ready to get out of bed until taemin wrapped his arms around the other man's waist.
“no, it’s okay.” taemin nuzzled his face into the crook of kibum’s neck. “i really don’t mind.”
