Chapter 04
The lunch time sky was blue, a very soft blue. Clouds were starting to be seen and the sun wasn't alone anymore. Everyone seemed happy that day, even at work. At this time of day, restaurants were packed with people from all ages(well, there was less kids). "Sugoi-Cafe" was not an exception but it was more packed with the feminine sex. Most of them were school-girls and people were wondering why, why were girls more attracted to Sugoi-Cafe? The desserts there is awesome? The drinks they offer is cheap but delicious? The place isn't far from lots of different High Schools? The waiters are all sexy&hot guys? All of the answers above are right. Aoi had worked there with his roomate since he was in university, and yes, he did actually enjoyed his job. But, he wanted more. He wanted to teach in his own classroom, he wanted to be a good teacher, he wanted to marry his girlfriend, have a family of his own, have kids... But he knew he wanted something else too, he just couldn't figure it out yet.
The lunch time was long over now and the sky is turning into a grey one, with lots of clouds and the sun wasn't in sight anymore. Aoi was done with his job and he was walking towards the change-room. It had been a nice day today for him, but memories from a long time ago kept coming back in his head. It didn't hurt him like it used to, but it shattered his heart, because he missed his big brother. "Hey, Aoi. Wait for me! I'm done too!" An average brown-haired guy yelled through the counter. He always had a smile plastered on his cute face and was a very charimastic person. Aoi used to look up at him as a "mother" and someone really honest and sweet. "No problem, Kai. But don't take too long."
**Several minutes later **
"Kai... it took you 30 minutes to get out of the change-room. What the hell were you doing?" Aoi asked, with a really pissed expression. Kai only answered with a huge smirk, shaking his head. Aoi knew he wouln'd have an answer for now, so they just kept walking in the streets by the side-walk, to their appartment. When they came to the appartment block, Aoi stopped his track, making Kai turn and look at him with a confused, yet cute face. "Aoi, why are you standing there? You know you're not going to get food if you stay here all night. What are you waiting for?" Kai asked, with a fake sad tone. "Kai, I'm taking the car tonight.. I have some stuff to do, you know.. that "stuff"." Kai was confused at first, but after a moment of silence, his confused expression transformed into a "Ooooh!! I get it now!!" face. "Okay.. take the car but don't come home too late. I might be sleeping so you'll just wake me up. Oh, and if you don't feel like coming home tonight, call me before you go anywhere to sleep. I have to make sure you go to a safe place. And if someone tries to rape you, don't forget to yell your soul out! Got it?" He just waved at him and smiled a bit. 'Kai would make a lovely mother' he thaught, and without any seconds waste, he took the car and drove his way to the graveyard.
By the time he got there, the sky was almost dark and some raindrops were warning to fall from the grey clouds. He was there, alone, standing blankly at a grave stone. "Hey, Onii-san. Long time I didn't come here." he said out loud. His eyes were watery, but he wasn't going to let his emotions take over him. "I didn't bring flowers with me, but if I talk to you, would that be enough?" he smiled sadly, knowing far too well his brother wouldn't answer. "So.. I'm always working at Sugoi-Cafe with Kai and I'm still with Minami. She went to live with her grandfather at Hokkaido so I miss her a lot. And I don't even know when I'll see her again because I don't have many free-times. Well.. I was supposed to visit her last month, but Miss Kouyou called me to tutor her son, Uruha. You know what? Uruha is weird but not in a mean way. His way of seeing things is so different from the other teens of his age and he's really adorable when he blushes. Oh.. and when I first saw him, I thaught he was a girl! He is really attractive and I can't believe he's still single. Boy or not, I want him.. Oh my Kami-sama.. what did I just say?? I mean.. It's not that I like him or something. It's just, well, you know... I can't! I have a girlfriend and I only have eyes for her, no?.. Gosh.. I don't even know him well..." he whined in utter surprise. He didn't see himself say those words at all. He didn't notice the huge clouds and the dark sky until he looked up. "It's going to rain soon. I better get going now. I'd have to call Kai soon. Don't worry, Toshiya. I'll come with flowers another day. See ya." with that, he left his spot, walking through the path showing the exit, leaving this one specific grave stone:
"Dear brother sleeps in peace"
Suguru Toshimasa
1980 - 2002
He walked in silence and his heart was in peace. He missed Toshiya a lot.. then.. he heard a faint whisper. Aoi turned his head towards the noise and saw someone sitting in front of a big grave stone. He immediatly recognise Uruha. The young boy was sweetly talking to the grave, his knees to his chest and arms around his thin legs. Aoi made his way through to Uruha and tried to make less sound as possible. But the blonde seemed to wake up to Earth, looked up at him and hurried himself to stand up, brushing away some durt on his black pants.
"Aoi-senpai! What are you doing here? You scared me!" The young one asked, his heart beats increasing. But our brunette didn't notice that, instead, he walked closer to Uruha, with a sad and serious expression. "I came here to say hello to someone. What were you doing here, sitting and alone at that? Does your mother even knows?" The blonde gazed down, trying to avoid his stare. Uruha knew he couln't lie, not to his tutor he fell in love with. "Uh.. Well my mom doesn't know I'm here because I told her I was sleeping at Reita's place... and I'm here because I needed some time alone with my dad. And mother is out for a whole week because of her job, anyways..." Uruha responded, still gazing at his feet.
Aoi felt strange for that moment... he had never seen Uruha so vulnerable. He wanted to hold him, but before he could, a droplet of rain purred down his cheek. He put a hand on his student's shoulder. "It's raining. Come on, I'll take you home." he said, trying to smile. But Uruha pushed him away. "No. I don't want to go home." The younger one said roughtly. Aoi was shocked, but he wasn't going to leave Uruha here and alone, while more raindrops fell. "It's raining, Uruha. You'll just catch a cold and your mom's going to be worried." he persisted again, taking Uruha's wrist forcefuly. But the young man pushed him violently away. "I don't want to go home!" Uruha yelled, anger written all over his face. Aoi didn't move back, instead, he took a step closer to his student. "I said I don't want to go home! I'm tired, okay? I'm fucking tired of all this!!" Uruha started to hit Aoi on his chest.
"I'm tired of mom putting me in a cage since dad died! Why can't it be like it used to be anymore?? I'm sick of everyone telling me what to do all the time and I'm fucking tired of people seeing me like I'm some kind of retarted freak!! I may be slow but I understand what people are telling me! I'm not an object like they think I am!! I have a heart, I have feelings, I can be hurt too!! I hate it, I fucking hate it!!" Uruha started to hit Aoi harder but he did nothing. He only listened patiently to the young man's every words. The blonde broke into tears, hands clutching on Aoi's black jacket. Aoi took him into his strong arms, but Uruha was strugling to get free. "Let me go!!! *sob* I don't want your pity!!!.... let.. please let go..." he stopped strugling and instead, moved foward into Aoi's arms. He fell on his knees, bringing Aoi along with him. He cried his sorrow and his fears to Aoi, while the raindrops from the sky made their way down. "I miss father..." he whimpered.
Aoi held the beautiful crying creature tightly. He closed his eyes, listening to Uruha's chocked sobs and whimpers. To him, Uruha was like a fallen angel who couln't deal with his sad fate. An angel who wasn't able to spread his wings and fly away, who had unhealed wounds and a very sensible heart. If people manipulated it too harshly, it would only break into aches and leave him emotionless. Aoi knew what he wanted for that moment. He wanted Uruha to be happy, and always smile.
