I just wanted to say that I think when Shou says "三声" he means what vocalists call head voice. It has to do with when one is singing, generally one sings in a register that is like the one you use when you're simply talking. That's what's known as chest voice,(second voice?) and I guess it's kind of the easier one for most people. But if you were to do scales and move up in that register, at some point, in order to accommodate the higher notes, you switch over to a higher, more sort of breathe-y voice, which means your register has changed (This "third" voice). For guys, I guess it'd be like falsetto.

Shou is referring to the fact that if he and Saga both sing together in chest voice, their voices sound fairly different. However, in head voice, the difference is less, and as he says, there's less overlap. (This is the reason that choral groups sing all in head voice. A chorus isn't about a solo singer with a unique voice, it's about the sound that many people create together.)

*If I could make a note: Saga's voice is fairly incredible *_*. His chest voice register goes up really really high before the point that he needs to switch to third voice, or falsetto, or head voice. (which I'm kind of lumping all together to mean the same thing.) Shou's voice around this time had a definite gap between whenever he switched registers. It's really apparent in some of the songs off of Zekkeishoku, and in recent years you can hear him working really hard on it x_x

I found it incredible that for that last interview, they remembered specific things about every single venue.

haha he meant to say that there's a certain guy among the audience who was quite conspicuous (since they're in a live house and the place's probably quite compact)

Lol Saga. Maybe he meant that there aren't always very many guys who come to shows, so he stood out just because he wasn't a woman lol.

I think it'd be a safe interpretation. You might want to get someone else's opinion though to back me up? I was going mostly from context so it's hard without the scans...

My dictionary doesn't even have an entry for falsetto though so I really don't know. (it goes straight from falsehood to falsify wth)I was thinking like, うらごえ? Or something. The kanji might be something like　裏声. My dictionary doesn't have that, either, but I remember seeing it somewhere before. Like inside-out voice?

Shou is so hard to translate what he says though. I don't know if it's just me, but when he isn't saying things that are simple but make no sense, so that you wonder if you're even interpreting them right, he says things that are so deep you don't even know where to start. Gah. And then there are the times when he makes complicated analogies involving food and I just don't understand in the slightest. ><
