【Fool's Mate September 2011】Shou x Dasoku
I just can't help but doing this interview (ノ≧∇≦）ノ since i love both Shou and Dasoku ❤❤❤. Plus I've always being noticing their love tweets to each other xD

The two of you are on good terms with each other privately, but to what extent do you get along with each other?
Shou: To the extent that we spent Christmas together
Speaking of which! Previously when i was collecting materials there was such a causal talk on this.
Shou: Right. But as expected we weren't together on Christmas eve (laughs) [Because Christmas eve in Japan is very much a couples-day]
Dasoku: Actually how did it turn out that way?
Shou: True, both of us adjusted our timings to be free on those days. But the 24th was that day before the live so I restrained myself. [Alice Nine always have a Christmas live every year] Then after enquiring, "On the 25th, will you be free after the live?" he gave the OK
Dasoku: I was actually amazingly free on both days though.
Shou: When i heard that, i was like "No way!" (laughs)
Dasoku: In the end on the 24th i drank with another guy until morning.
No way! (laughs) But on Christmas, the street is full of couples ne
Dasoku: Well, there were many couples ne! That's why we drink to not see that surroundings. We averted our eyes from the reality around us.
Shou: In the end we couldn't see the people on the streets. [from the place they drink?]
In the first place, how did the two of you got along?
Shou: The starting point was last year when i started watching Niconico douga.
Was it "Utattemita" [This is a corner in nico douga where users post song covers etc. Dasoku-san is part of this]
Shou: Right. In "Utattemita" I became familiar with various utaite singers, but the first person that i thought was good, cool was Dasoku-san.
Dasoku: Oh.......(surprised look turning to a shy smile)
Shou: And then, when i read Dasoku-san's profile and live recordings, i saw a lot of common points with me like "we play the same game", and "we are doing the same kind of activities".
When that's the case, you'll naturally feel a kind of close feeling right.
Shou: Right. I simply imagined for myself "We might become friends". (laughs)
Dasoku: And then it's Twitter. We were introduced to each other through a mutual acquaintance and noticed his retweet, and from then on we had various exchanges.
Does Dasoku-san knew about Shou-san?
Dasoku: Because there was Alice Nine's show in Nico Nico, so i thought "It came!" (laughs)
Shou: Though it seems that i was thought of as a suspicious person initially (laughs)
Dasoku: I thought someone was flirting with me on the net.
Shou: But after we connected through Twitter, our song was broadcasted on Nico Raji!
Dasoku: When i saw the PV that was broadcasted, it was the first time i saw a moving Shou-kun........i thought, what the heck. This is cute! But I won't know if we don't actually meet......so we met at a pretty early stage ne?
Shou: It was immediate. It was half a joke, I invited him in the middle of the night, "shall we go for a drink", he was completely OK with it. We went right away to drink.
Dasoku: Yep, yep. We were 2 lonely people so we went to a bar ne.
Saying "Shall we go for a drink" doesn't make it a kind of lip service ne.
Shou: Dasoku-san doesn't do lip service. He'll really drink with you.
Dasoku: Yep. I'm clear on that. If i don't like it, i'll say i don't like it. If i think it's troublesome, i'll say it's troublesome.
Easy to understand! Then when the 2 of you talked, you found you were able to talk well.
Dasoku: We talked well on serious talks ne.
Shou: That's true. Our love patterns were similar too (laughs)
Dasoku: Yea. We seem to be really similar in that area (bitter smile)
Even though impressions for the 2 of you are very different as people........it's unexpected ne.
Shou: Our axle as a person are completely different, but we have many similar points. We both like cats, we whisper slowly in deep voice (laughs)
Shou-san's singing voice is pretty high but your talking voice is low ne.
Dasoku: Ah, right. The key that you sing at is pretty high.
Shou: Because I do raw performances together [with recordings i'm assuming] If i don't train out a high voice lives for me will be hidden away. But on that point, Dasoku-san does harmonics so i also have admiration for him in that "I want to sing like him!"
Dasoku: Well, but if i sing in lives i really can't hear my voice ne (laughs)
Following on that, do you exchange this kind of vocalist-related conversations?
Shou: We don't seem to talk on that, but unexpectedly we also talk on songs ne. Simply put, the usual pattern is when i want to enquire something from him.
Dasoku: .........This sounds like I'm not interested in Shou-kun!
But if you ask he'll kindly answer you right?
Shou: Yeah, he's pretty gentle!! He's a really good person.
Dasoku: In the past, it looks like I don't seem to have courtesy or motivation........Speaking of which, in the past when i interviewed for a part-time, even though I was earlier than the supposed time, and properly answered the questions, the interview said "Do you actually have motivation?".
If that's the case, people will like you for that gap in character ne
Shou: I think that's so. His nickname is "lord" too, at first i thought he was a scary person.
Dasoku: Ah, I'm often said to be a "scary person".
Hard to talk to?
Dasoku: Yes yes, i was also said to be like that. It's to the extent of being lonely. I want people to talk to me more.
Shou: Our guitarist Tora too is also the type who looks scary......but Tora and Dasoku-san might be a little similar. I might have gotten immunity from a scary-looking person like Tora. (laughs)
From Dasoku-san's viewpoint, how is Shou-san?
Dasoku: Well, a good guy!
Shou: Ended with 3 words (laughs)
Dasoku: Well, you do know about a person's good points as normal good friends, but when there are other people around, he always involves me.......I thought what a good guy he is.
Shou: Even though i completely think of him as a friend, i also have respect for him. For us kind of bands, we're like an integration of art, so we're not just music, so our commercial value is the combination of our looks, artwork etc, but for utaite [people who are in Utatemitta], basically they don't show their faces so they just compete through their voices, aren't they people who clear a path for themselves.
Dasoku: ...........he said in a really cool way ne (laughs)
Shou: No, no, because it's really like that. He has what i don't have. That's why i can respect him.
Dasoku: Such a good guy!! But i can't move at all in lives, but Shou-kun knows a lot about showing off his charm ne. That's good.........It's like teach me! I can't move because I don't know what's a cool way to move.
Both of you are vocalists with similar motivation, and with respect for each other. In that way, what do you want to do together?
Dasoku: Well, i think anything will be good
Shou: Right, right. It'll be good if we can both sing live~or something. This time we were able to do this together, if Fool's Mate holds an event I'll like to do a joint-performance!
Dasoku: Even though the both of us can't talk at all, we can do a 30minute talk show or something. [which will end up being: Dasoku --> un Shou --> un un Dasoku --> ununun Shou: unununun....but please do xD]
Shou: If we don't have an equalizer, our voices won't go through (laughs)
It looks like it'll be interesting to have two people with different voice-characters overlapping each other so i'll look forward to it.
Shou: We overselves are interested in that ne
Dasoku: I'll want to do something interesting, yep!
[sorry, i just felt like i have to chip in some random comments xD. Because the photoshoot is so much like what Alice Nine usually does, Dasoku looks a little weird/not used to it in it xDDD It's really cute though.]
