productive day
I have had a super productive day today... I started off with a to-do list and have managed to almost totally scrub everything off it - even though it was a to-do list for today and tomorrow!
The only thing I didn't get round to is getting quotes from the floor sanders to get a few rooms sanded back and re-sealed. Oh well, will give me something to do tomorrow :)
Our dilemma at the moment is what colour to paint our study and hallway. The the moment the study is a lovely butter-nut pumpkin orange, and the hallway has 1 fuchsia wall and one butter-nut pumpkin orange wall and grey trims. I know, I know. I am sure you're all asking why on EARTH we would want to change the current colour scheme... We just do! The trouble is, neither of us are very good with colours... I think we are just going to play it safe and go white. But there are also a million and 1 different shades of white you can get... Oh well, I guess the good thing is, if we paint it one colour and absolutely HATE it, we can always repaint. Grrr.
Other than that - all domestic bits n' pieces are coming together. Getting insulation put in over the next week or two and started looking at pavers and stuff to spruce up or entertaining area (we figure we can take our time to do this - as long as it's ready by the time it starts warming up). All fun stuff. All expensive stuff, but fun too :)
