Good weekend, all in all
Biggest news: I felt definite movement...the other mornig when I was kinda lying on my tummy in bed but I had my leg keeping most of my weight off of it, I could feel some bubbles. Same thing a few moments later. Also felt a bubble near my belly button today. I doubt it was gas.
Woke up Friday morning and, after I had showered and gotten breakfast then settled down to watch the news, realized I didn't have to go into work. Yay!! So I stayed up for a an hour or so and went back to bed. DH was happy. ;) Got some cleaning done later that day and finally bought a maternity bra - Melinda G T-Shirt Soft Cup Nursing Bra and realized I am now a cup E-F. You see why DH is so happy. I paid $50, but I was pretty desperate, and the cup clips were a heck of a lot easier to manage than on the cheaper Bravado.
Saturday, we went to the opening day of Scarborough Faire...local springtime Ren Fest. Enjoyed a few hours in the snow (well, thick flurries at times). At least we weren't freezing our butts off like some of the people in costume were (someone had bare feet! We all knew it was only going to be in the 40s!). My hands did get mighty chilly when we were eating though. DH enjoyed a Scotch egg, which he hasn't had in years - or should I say yonks? - and we both had decent fish 'n' chips...but the fish was breaded, not battered like the real thing. Came home and napped.
Today took my mom to Steak and Ale for Easter brunch, and other than some misc. stuff, that was about it. I took Peanut for a long walk. We've been neglecting her walks and she now can be way too energetic when she wants out...we need to tire her out like a toddler! Hard to believe she's 15 and I was in tears a couple of weeks ago, thinking she was going to die!
We were stuffed all afternoon but are now thinking about having reamining leftover cheese and crackers/queso and chips for dinner. I really needed a long weekend...but then I had one last weekend too but only because I was sick, so that doesn't count. Still waiting to be able to breathe through my nose and not spit crap up, though.
Oh, and never sent a link to family re: the sonogram pics because I couldn't get all the pics uploaded to my new Picasa web site (too much space) and didn't bug DH to do it for me. Bad me. ;)
