But what are character relations and what is this meme for?
Character relations are relations between characters ICly formed within a game. This meme is to help players build IC relations with other players and branch out from their usual circle. Here is how it goes: you reply to this post with your list of characters and what character relations you want from them. Other players will reply to you and cater to the needs or wants of your characters. Of course, since this is a DR, for the players who are just looking to test run some characters to develop a stronger voice for them, this meme can also be used to ask for specific interactions so you can get used to playing out different scenarios.
For example: you play a sweet, mothering character. But! You haven't had a chance for your sweet mothering character to do some mothering and you really want to play out that side. Another player who has an orphan kid is pinged by this potential CR and offers up their orphan for the mothering character to dote on. The players can either figure things out on this post or by PM/AIM/whatever suits them the most.
RULES:
1. BE NICE If someone asks for something you don't feel is in character for one of your characters, say why but don't be a douchenouzzle about it.
2. SOCIALIZE Don't just stick to the players you're already familiar with. Tag around, the whole point of this meme is to develop CR with people you don't have CR with yet
3. BE ACTIVE CR is a two way street. Don't just post and then sit on your hands waiting for someone to reply. Like I said before, tag around and see if there are people who are asking for what you want.
