MODPOST - Playerbase concerns
Good...technical morning, guys! It's been a while since I've posted here in any sort of official capacity that wasn't essentially being the bearer of bad news - I think it's about time that I changed that.
The chances are good that you've seen Vyck's modpost regarding the way this community is run; after reviewing the circumstances, I think it might be a good idea to create a feedback post of my own here. Continue to utilize hers for issues involving the community itself - primarily, the rules or the general organization of things, and the problems that may have arisen therein; anything technical should go there. This post, rather, is for issues involving the playerbase itself, as a whole - to explain it a little better, the previous post is asking how you would like things to work; this post is asking how you feel about the game. If you aren't entirely sure what sort of things I'm looking for, here, you can take these questions into consideration if you'd like:
From a mod standpoint: Do you feel that your concerns are being listened to? Are we too pushy as mods - or, conversely, do we seem distant or inaccessible? We've had problems with triggers and sensitive topics in the past - do you feel that those have been handled adequately? Bring any problems you may have regarding this sort of thing here.
From a player standpoint: How does the atmosphere of the game feel to you? Do you feel welcome? Again, we've had problems with triggery content from time to time - do you feel safe playing here? Do you feel intimidated or left out? I think it might be good to air concerns about this sort of thing out, and to discuss these issues as a playerbase - if you aren't comfortable in the game, I want to know how to help, and chances are that others do, too. Feel free to discuss these things among yourselves, and I'll offer input when I can.

I ask you to keep in mind that the point of this is not to namedrop anyone; if you have an issue with someone specific that you feel needs mediation by a mod, PM me at this journal or IM me at AsylumBred as soon as possible. Specific matters that require mod intervention should remain between yourself, the other player, and me - for the sake of privacy and general respect toward other players, I must request that you do not namedrop. Furthermore, anyone caught using this post for outright harassment of other players will have disciplinary measures administered immediately.
Any issues that arise here should be brought to me directly - handling problems with the playerbase is my primary concern, while Vyck handles the technical details; any issues here be brought to me to handle, as Vyck has her own concerns that she's handling on her post.
I would like this to remain as peaceful as possible; for the duration of any discussion that arises from this, if any, I thank you for your time and cooperation.
