I've had... horrible luck with shinies until SoulSilver. NOT A SINGLE SHINY IN TEN YEARS (the red gyarados doesn't count) and SUDDENLY SHINY CYNDAQUIL after a dozen resets (was aiming for Explotaro's nature). Then I finally managed to chain a Shinx in Pearl, then Cam traded me a shiny Totodile and then I chained TWO SHINY GASTLY and this was the best week ever. Now I just need a hoppip. And a beldum if I have the courage to breed a billion ones to find a shiny :|b But lol yeah, add the three event legendary dogs to this (and eventually the red gyarados) and SS pretty much became my SHINYGAME.

My shines were Nincada(Ruby), Zubat(Diamond), and Tentacool(SS) which is well and cool and all BUT WHHYYYYY. I need to actually try and get a shiny at some point. I haven't really... put a lot of effort into it (that and all my favorite Pokemon's shiny form suck)
