Clarissa ever truly getting along with Archer would be about as likely as her selling Clefairy, and in all honesty she wouldn't have it any other way; apart from when Archer's being genuinely frustrating she immensely enjoys their snarky little fights, and will never cease to delight in mocking him whenever she can. However, she's more willing to be cooperative with him at the moment...marginally more so, at least. The Team's recent defeat took it's toll on everybody, of course, but seeing the state Archer was in shortly after really pushed all of Clarissa's wrong buttons, and the last thing she wants to do is start any genuine fights with him for the time being.
As much as this man aggravates her for pretty much most of the time, and despite how rarely her actions reflect it, Clarissa honestly does respect Archer. She trusts in him and his abilities and believes that if things really do come to him having to take over the Team again then he'll be able to lead them in their rightful direction better than even Silver could. It is more than a little unnerving when he openly doubts himself, but she'll keep reassuring him - the serious moments truly do make their antagonistic work-relationship all worth it. As much as she'd hate having to call him "Boss" and having to treat him respectfully and follow orders first time, she definitely thinks he'd be suitable to lead the Team, even if he doesn't seem to think so.
