UHM SO I HAVE A PROBLEM

I had this crazy idea while talking to someone
about a pokedex.
That has an AI so advanced you'd SWEAR it was human.
Well that's probably because it IS based on a human.
This particular human has pretty much disappeared to all that wish to find him.
The fun twist that I wasn't sure I wanted to say, but is that that human bugged this pokedex so he could see though it and sometimes he actually talks through it or modifies his own ai.
But then
I relised that
1) This is not actually a...character per say. Like what fucking list would it go under? Because it's not 100% the hidden guy all the time.
2) I...didn't want to bring the actual guy to the island because he's my derpy OC that...I'm not ready to talk about yet.
But this pokedex would be boring as crap (well, it's coding is quite amusing, but it's not as fun that way.) without him, but if he's NOT ON THE ISLAND while talking
that's like-
cheating isn't it?
