Managed to hush the Help this afternoon for the duration of the Radio 4 Afternoon Reading, which is a minor miracle :D
'Getting Up' was a cracking little story, worthy competition winner IMO. Some laugh out loud moments and I loved the connection the teenage boy felt to the original cave painter. Very touching. Gareth's character voices are terrific, whatever he reads bursts into life when he takes on different personas. And he got three big namechecks from the continuity announcer, which never hurts!
