So I found a new hobby. Actually it's been a new hobby for a while now. First few weeks into the year, Evan Lambert from Lebanon with an asian 'fro, taught me to play soccer. Cause I donno... we were bored one day and we were debating whether to throw a disc around or kick a ball around. So he went back to his dorm and got a ball. And he was on the Lebanon soccer team. Lebanon's like 20 minutes away from Waterford. And he was doin all this crazy stuff with the soccer ball and we were standing there like... holy cow. But he said he was like the worst player on his team or somethin like that. So he spent like an hour or so teaching me all this crazy stuff that I never got. But he gave me his ball and I kick it around once a while. Like just a few minutes ago, I was bored, didn't wanna do work, and just kicked the ball around. Like I could never juggle before or do anything remotely close to the stuff on tv. And I'm really really bad at it. But it was still fun so I've been working at it and now I can juggle the ball and do that crazy stalling thing on your ankle. Then you throw the ball in the air and stall it on the back of you neck while hunched over. It's crazy.
And everything seems to be goin pretty well. Brian was sick yesterday and I was over seeing if he needed anything. I hope he feels better. I've been hanging out with him and his roomates a lot. And the gamecube still provides a strong source of entertainment. And our smash brothers skills have doubled.
My intervarsity christian group is really cool. Each tuesday we have a prayer group at 10. I've been hanging out with them a little bit. Sunday I went over and we played some cribbage. Craig and I beat Chris and Dan, which is crazy cause Chris... doesn't really lose. And then we played hebrew 13, or as the call is "blood poker." Craig and Dan left with a loss of 3 pints blood each. hehe.
