So, I was thinking. Maybe we could talk a little about our favorite Pokémon, since that's what brings us together? And maybe our favorite Legendary as well?

I personally don't have any favorites, but I do enjoy reading about Darkrai. It's such a fascinating Pokémon, I find. What about the rest of you?

Well, I don't really have a favourite kind of Pokémon, but Pikachu and I are pretty good buddies.

As for legendaries, I think Ho-oh's kinda interesting...

It's like Swirl and I, we quickly grew attached to each other.

Ho-oh, huh. How come?

The day I left home... Pikachu and I almost got killed by a flock of Spearow in a thunderstorm... We somehow managed to survive though. When we came to afterward, I saw what I'm pretty sure was a Ho-oh, flying across a rainbow...

...Wow. You sure got lots of excitement as a Trainer. And wow, flying across a rainbow? That must've been beautiful!

...I helped a Darkrai who was being used by Team Dim Sun, and the year after, the remnant of them tried to use that power to try and take over Almia. That Darkrai helped me protect the region, thought, and after that, Darkrai left after we promised we would protect what he once guarded.

Yeah, I couldn't tell what it was at the time due to my Pokédex being an older model with data only on Kanto native Pokémon.

That sounds pretty cool too!

Right, Pokédex usually have a region-specific one...

Ahaha, it was very challenging... but I was grateful to have met it.

The old models, yeah. I've currently got a more recent National Pokédex though, its database covers around 500 different Pokémon.

Yeah, that definitely sounds like a pretty cool adventure.

...500?! Are you serious?! That's how many there is out there? ...If I tell this to Hastings, he's gonna have a heart attack...

I enjoy being a Ranger... I've always wanted to be one ever since I can remember. Plus, I didn't live that far away from a town with a Ranger Base, a good ten minute walk, really.

Well, I don't know how many there are exactly, but Professor Oak says that they're always discovering new ones...

Yeah! I bet there are tons waiting to be discovered! ...And who knows? They might even find a brand new type!

Well didn't they discover a new type just a few years ago? I think it was either Steel or Dark... I can't remember which.
