With her grass pokemon paper recently published (and a petty cat burglar caught with her help), Ema had wondered for a short while what she would set her sights on researching next. Finally, though, she decided on her favorite type: Bugs.
Currently standing in a cluster of bushes, the cautious scientist was spraying her arms with something from a can: a chemical that neutralized her odor so that bug pokemon could not detect her gradual approach. When ready, she snuck carefully into a series of bushes, and waited.
A Beautifly, which was a rather uncommon sight in the Forest, emerged from a grove of flowers. Advancing on the Pokemon with a net, Ema was about to take a swing when she unceremoniously took a tumble from tripping from a root.
"Ow!" She muttered, standing back up, face-to-face with a rather angry insect.
