Vaporeon is my personal favourite out of the first gen Eeveelutions. It's just so pretteh =D
However when given the choice of only one in the games, I would go for Jolteon, What with my always choosing the water starter and all. Plus ol' Jolty had some good moves (though I never quite got over him having a bug-type move...)
Poor Flareon never really got a look in, I always got the impression they thought they were better than you ¬__¬
