Describe your personality: According to the iPersonic quiz, I am a Harmony-seeking Idealist. It actually sums me up really well! Impressive~
Harmony-seeking Idealists like you are characterized by a complex personality and an abundance of thoughts and feelings. You are a warm-hearted person by nature. You are sympathetic and understanding. Harmony-seeking Idealists expect a lot of themselves and of others. You have a strong understanding of human nature and you are a good judge of character. But you are mostly reserved and confide your thoughts and feelings to very few people you trust. You are deeply hurt by rejection or criticism. Harmony-seeking Idealists find conflict situations unpleasant and prefer harmonious relationships. However, if reaching a certain target is very important to you you can assert yourself with a doggedness bordering on obstinacy.
Harmony-seeking Idealists have a lively fantasy, often an almost clairvoyant intuition and are often very creative. Once you have tackled a project, you do everything in your power to achieve your goals. In everyday life, you often prove to be an excellent problem solver. You like to get to the root of things and you have a natural curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. At the same time, you are practically oriented, well organized and in a position to tackle complex situations in a structured and carefully considered manner. When you concentrate on something, you do so one hundred percent - you often become so immersed in a task that you forget everything else around you.
As a Harmony-seeking Idealist you are one of the introverted personality types. Therefore you prefer a quiet work environment where you can intensively deal with your responsibilities and are not disturbed by too many people and repeated distractions. You need a lot of time to dwell on your thoughts, to put them into words and let your ideas take shape. You are grateful for a certain measure of order and structure in order to achieve this, and being able to deal with one project after the other, thus not having a number of responsibilities at one time. You don’t like being overloaded because it is important to you to deal with things thoroughly. Your capability to concentrate is unusually great and very often you become engrossed in something and forget everything around you.
Positive Traits: creative, spontaneous, empathetic, kind, generous, loyal, honest, intelligent, intuitive, logical
Negative Traits: extremely shy, low self-esteem, critical of myself, hypocritical, overly emotional
Hobbies and interests: Creative writing, graphic design (I make a lot of icons/wallpapers), cooking, listening to music, playing music (piano, viola, singing), swimming
Dislikes: math and other black-and-white situations/manners of thinking, running, self-centered people, insensitive people, debates and competition
How are you described by others?: Extremely kind and sweet, gentle and loving. People tend to see me as a caring sisterly type of person, as I'm (supposedly) responsible and intelligent, while also caring and accommodating. I don't exactly draw people to me (in fact, I tend to be ignored by others since I'm so quiet) but once they get to know me, I'm a very valuable friend. All this, I've gotten from other people- they seem to know me better than I know myself! ^^U
Are you more...
Introverted or extroverted? Introverted; I tend to think much more than I speak. I actually spend a lot of time just thinking about things.
Optimistic, pessimistic, idealistic, or realistic? Ehh~ I suppose I'm an optimist. I tend to see things the way I'd like them to be, and rather than gripe about the problems we have, I like to think of how we could fix them and make things better. I hate politics and debates for that reason- people just argue about the problems we have, and progress is slow.
A leader or a follower? Follower; though if no one else will take charge, or the person in charge is inefficient, I will sort of automatically become the leader- I have to have things organized, and I'll delegate jobs to people so everything will get done. I'm more of an organizer and a motivator than a leader, really.
Cynical or trusting? Usually I'm trusting, but lately I've been turning more cynical.
Mature or childish? I can act outwardly childish, since I'm really shy around people I don't know, and though I'm childish on the surface I think I have a really mature (rather depressing, actually) outlook on things. My scope of thought is a lot bigger than just myself, and I tend to see the big picture of things. So I guess... childish on the outside, mature on the inside!
Independent or dependent? Dependent; it's pretty bad. ^^U See, I'm a thinker, not a do-er. I can get a little clingy sometimes, but people tell me they don't mind 'cause they like me. Hm.
Cool or dorky? DORK. I am such a dork, it's awful and awesome at the same time.
Careful or carefree? Careful; I may be a bit spontaneous, but I never rush into things without thinking about them first.
High, medium, or low energy? Medium I suppose. When I am high energy, I get really bouncy, and though I think I'm being really obnoxious, people always tell me I'm not. I guess I'm just not as bad as some people?
Confident or modest? Modest. I like being given credit for the things I've done, but I'm never the first one to say it. I never fish for compliments, either. I never flaunt what I am or what I have, and I hate it when other people do that. Plus, if you compliment me too much, I'll turn really red... I can't handle it~!
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would you change? I wish I was more confident. I recognize that I'm not, and I don't see myself as terribly valuable. I mean, I do my best to make others happy and make a difference in the world, but I still don't see myself as special. You know? I'm not confident in myself, and I'm way too shy. I wish I wasn't that way.
What are some of your future goals? I want to be a teacher. I think that would be the best job in the world. ^^ I want to live in a smaller town, since I don't like huge crowds of people. It's nice to visit, but I'd never like living there. I like nature too much.
How do you tend to act around those you don't know? I'm very shy. I'll never talk to you first- it's not because I don't like you or anything, I'm just... shy. I don't know. I get all scared if I even think about starting a conversation with someone I don't know well. It's quite sad. But if you ask me for help, I'll always help you, even if I don't know you at all. I'll never turn you away if you need anything.
Disregarding type, what are some of your favorite Pokemon? Why? My all-time favorite Pokemon is Treecko. I fell in love with it the first moment I saw it- I just generally love the Hoenn Pokemon. In a close second place is Bulbasaur. I guess I like Pokemon that are cute, and don't look immediately threatening but can still hold a lot of power. I don't like big scary-looking Pokemon, though they can be powerful as well, nor do I like cute but weak Pokemon. It's a mix of both, and often, I find the starters embody that sort of thing. My favorites altogether are... Treecko, Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil, Vaporeon, Ninetails, and Gardevoir.
How do you usually dress? Do you think you'd dress any different if you were in the Pokemon world? People say that I dress up rather often, and I suppose that's true. Sometimes I'll wear a t-shirt, jeans and high-tops, but most of the time I like to wear dark jeans, boots and sweaters. I also wear skirts and casual dresses when I can get away with it. As a whole, I guess I like cute clothes. I never follow fashion trends- I just wear what I think looks pretty. I actually tend to wear black quite often (hence why people think I look so formal all the time!) but that's only because it's one of the few colors that actually looks decent on me- I have a very light complexion and red hair. If I were in the Pokemon world... ehh~ I'd probably dress about the same way. Even if my outfits do tend to look formal, they're very comfortable and I'd be perfectly happy wearing them out on adventures and whatnot.
Do you think you'd be the type to specialize in certain Pokemon types? I certainly do have a favorite type, though I wouldn't specialize in it. Since I'm an obsessive organizer, I would be the type to plan out my team to make sure it's well-rounded and trumps as many types as possible. (I do this in the games, actually! ^^)
What's your goal in the Pokemon world? Do you want to go with the typical be the best or are we just here to have fun and explore? Ah, I would definitely be in it just for the fun of it. I wouldn't see my Pokemon as fighting partners- I'd be the type to let them out all the time so they can run around and play. It would be fun to go exploring, but I wouldn't want to have a completely mobile life- that's the kind of person I am, I suppose. I'd want to have a stable home life, including my Pokemon. I would battle for fun of course, but that wouldn't consume everything.
Besides Pokemon training, do ya think you'd want to have any "normal" hobbies? Or even a job? Or would your life be dedicated to training? Training would not be a main focus for me- like I said before, I'd just want to make my Pokemon happy and have fun with them. It would be cool to battle once in a while to show them off, but not much beyond that. I bet I'd want to have a job, though it would involve Pokemon somehow. I can see myself running a sort of service-oriented business geared toward Pokemon, such as the day care, cafe, Pokemon center or someplace like that. A job where I could meet traveling trainers and help them and their Pokemon would be awesome. I love the idea of going on an adventure and being a trainer, but I wouldn't do it myself, necessarily.
If you hung out in just one area, what would the climate be like? Is it in a city, in a town, or along the countryside? A small town would be best- someplace where there's just enough people to make it interesting, but enough nature left untouched to enjoy. Actually, I've always wanted to live someplace like Fortree City in the Hoenn region. Someplace where small-town values and living combine with a love of nature.
What's your strategy for fights? I attack relentlessly... It actually doesn't suit my personality at all, but I've always been like that. The only defensive moves I like are the ones that restore HP (excluding Rest) or moves like Protect. Beyond that, I use attack moves, and my strategy relies heavily on type match-ups. I will always get myself a type advantage if at all possible. I use TMs to teach my Pokemon moves that they wouldn't know naturally, so then they know moves of a lot of different types. This can protect them from enemy Pokemon that trump their type, as well. I use potions and healing items very often- as soon as their HP is out of the green, they're getting healed with something! Status afflictions, though, I tend to let slide. I don't inflict them as much, either.
Are there any Trainer Classes you absolutely do not want to be voted as? Ehh, nah. Pick whatever you think fits me best!
Anything else you'd like to add? This comm is really awesome! I got so excited when I saw the ad for it at the Pokemon comm. I love stamping sorts of comms... I'm a total dork when it comes to things like that! So, this makes me very happy. I'm very interested to see what people vote me as! ^^
