Warnings: Boyxboy pairing. In the fourth chapter is there is scene where a pokemon is killed that got slightly more violent than I had intended, please keep that in mind if you do not deal well with violence
Summary: Touya's world falls apart when a fight with N leaves him broken and avoiding confrontation with Team Plasma. In Touya's absence from the world, Team Plasma has succeeded in leaving over half of the trainers in the world Pokemon-less. With aid from Elesa, Touya is forced back into the dark world that he allowed to be created. As he struggles to revive his friendship with Cheren and save N, he must live up to the "hero" that Ghetsis has always dreamed of.
Notes: I did not finish it in time, but I hit the required word count and I am happy with that.
