Pokémon Battle Revolution Tidbits

After messing around a bit and looking up info, I've gathered a few bits of info that some of you might be interested to know about with PBR.

-This is the FIRST Pokémon battling game to actually have more than one save file. There are four save files in total.

-A special Pikachu that has Surf, Volt Tackle and holds a Light Ball can be obtained when you've beaten the game. Beating Gateway Colosseum is NOT necessary. The Pikachu becomes available in the Shop's Mystery Gift area for 0 Coupons. You can have MULTIPLE games around to obtain the Pikachu within a 3-minute time slot. Only ONE Pikachu per game and you must have Mystery Gift activated. Foreign games WILL NOT work.

-A special Electivire and Magmortar are available within the game. You must obtain the Gold and Silver passes to get them. The method for obtaining these passes is COMPLETELY unknown as Nintendo is holding this information for later on.

-The outfits of the leaders can be obtained upon beating them in Level Rule: Lv. 50 All, which is obtained upon beating the game once. Do note that they can only be worn for the respective type of trainer the leader is. So the Groudon outfit can't be worn by girls or older guys, and the Roserade outfit can't be worn by guys or the younger girls, etc.

-In this game, Pokémon are NOT transfered from your D/P games. Instead, they're merely copied. So you won't have to worry about save files being erased and you losing your Pokémon from your handhelds anymore.

-Pokémon that were created via illegit means WILL be turned into Bad Eggs upon copying into PBR. This include catching Pokémon in locations they were not meant to be caught, turning them into "shinies" when they weren't in the first place, having max EVs/IVs/stats, and just flat out being created via Pokesav. The Bad Eggs cannot be selected, thus making the Pokémon you intended to use pretty much unusable.

-Bootleg games WILL NOT copy onto PBR. This means if you're using a flashcart, PBR will freeze in the middle of copying the Pokémon.

-Darkrai, Shaymin and Arceus are banned from Wi-Fi random battles, like on D/P's GTS. Attempting to bring them over will result in an error message stating that certain Pokémon in the member's party cannot be used. Unfortunately, they can still be used in friend code battles.

-Speaking of Wi-Fi, it appears PBR's Wi-Fi is restricted to just nationwide battles until the PAL regions receive the game. Unfortunately, battles with the Japanese will not happen even then.

-Speaking of regions, PBR will only work with the region your game came from. Nintendo's fully aware that people have been importing and made a note about region restrictions in the manual.

-Neon Colosseum is absolutely broken. It will make you want to throw your Wii remote at the screen and follow up with throwing your TV out the window. Why? Let's just say nothing is more frustrating than your opponent managing to use your Pokémon while you end up with a team filled with garbage Pokémon.

-Back on Wi-Fi, yes, there ARE Friend Codes in this game. However, unlike D/P, you CAN do random online matches. The Friend Codes are merely to keep tabs of friends to battle when you wish. You can also say friend passes to battle their Pokémon offline.

-In the game, you receive certain titles for achievements or styles of battling. If you've completed the game, you will receive the title of Pokétopia Master. Wearing the crown you received with the title gives you Pokétopia King. As for methods of battling, using Sandstorm several times gets you Sandstorm Guy/Girl, while using Dragon-types in your team can get you the Dragon Tamer title. There are several more that can be unlocked. These titles also affect the preset catchphrases your trainer uses.

As soon as I find out more info, I'll edit this entry and post up more. :x
