Sort of embarrassing question...

Is anyone else not so great at some of the Dream World minigames? I feel stupid admitting it, because they're obviously made to be simple, but sometimes I fail at them. For example tonight it took me three tries to do the Sky Race, and when I did finally reach the goal it was with literally one second remaining. And the other night I failed at ( Read more... )

The Sky Race always come in same types of patterns though. The first part is always the same no matter how many time you play (3 water in the middle, move up for 2-3 water, then move down for another 2-3 water). The rest...you just need to memorize the patterns they come in, and you'll be able to get through it easily. I think there's only around 10 large patterns of how everything will come out. .-.

For the ice-cream one, I actually always use Cheri Berry, scoop the third favor, put it into the bowl, scoop another scoop while waiting for the first one to stick, then try to put it directly and straightly on top of the first scoop, then go scoop another one again while waiting for it to stick. I always manage to stack up to 120 cm at least whenever I do that. .-.

Hide-and-Seek one is the easiest, IMO. You just need to find the berry and the pokemon should be 2-3 blocks away from it. I usually can do it in less than 30 seconds (mostly only 10-20 seconds).

And, sorry...even though I've been playing DW ever since Japanese launch, I still can't get around the Wailord game...I hate that game...-_-"

I'll try a Cheri Berry next time if I have any!

And a lot of people have mentioned that about finding the berry first. Next time I'll try that.

I don't know why I seem able to manage the Wailord game and not the Sky Race, but I don't think I've ever lost that one. I'm not a ridiculous high scorer or anything though.

But then again I've only been playing about a week, so.
