EV training for my Lapras
Hi guys. Even though I've been playing Pokemon since Red & Blue, I never really got into EV training, as I never had other people to battle with.
I read up on a few things and wanted to try it out on my lv. 100 Lapras, since I read that you can train lv. 100s if you put them in the box and when you withdraw them the effects have taken place.
I decided to use berries to reduce the Attack EVs, as Loqui (my Lapras) only has Special Attacks and to focus on Defense even more to make it more of a tank, but no matter how much I hang out on route 45 with the appropriate Power Item, no effects seem to take place after I deposit and withdraw Loqui again. It's even got Pokerus!! D=
Does EV training not work on lv 100s after all, or am I doing something wrong?
