I'm new. Yay. Decided to join and stop lurking :P
Anyway, I had this idea for a project and I want to know what you guys think of it.
So I want to make my own Pokédex... but like, pen and paper? I was thinking of getting some kind of sketchbook and doing a drawing of a Pokémon on each page (in accordance with the National Dex) and just writing the number and name. I mean, with almost 500 this would take forever but I was wondering if maybe I should write the Pokédex entry on the page as well, or on the back of the page (but this would take way more paper) and then its type and all?
Do you guys think this is a good project to do for fun, like over the summer or something (after school lets out, definitely) or a waste of time and money? I was looking at Barnes & Noble for small sketchbooks that have 500 pages but all they had are basically Moleskines and the like (and if you know anything about those, they're like $18 for a 200 page hardcover sketchbook). Do you know of any small sketchbooks of relatively good quality that would have a lot of pages (or maybe like 250-300 so I could do it in two books)? Thanks.
Here is an example of my drawing, because I thought I should just share these with you [: (and yes, I did draw on my leg)
