Just earlier today I was going through my Platinum boxes and found a Ho-Oh my nephew traded me. I took a look at it since I've just let it sit in my box and fill out my Pokedex, and discovered that it's certainly not legit

How does this pokemon seem non-legit to you? Ho-oh can learn both of those moves and you can move delete moves so it's down to 2. The fact it's in a pokemon isn't that big of a deal, a lot of people try to capture pokemon in just regular pokeballs plus all event pokemon before Gen 4 were given away in regular balls.

More pertinent information is where it's from and from stats.
