I'm on Platinum and have been using Houndoom for my fire pokemon needs, but I think it's time I switch him out. I already have Absol in my party and the weakness to fighting types has been a trial to work around. I'd like to obtain my one true love, Arcanine, to fill the roster. Does anyone have growlithe up for trade? I would prefer eggs to a raised pup, but I'm flexible. I have a plethora of Seel and Houndour hatchlings, and I could probably whip up Sneasels or Skorupi if anyone's interested.
So, what moveset should I be looking at for this puppy? The best Arcanine I had (way back in the days of the original Red/Blue) moved with Dragon Breath, Flame Thrower, Dig and Fire Blast, but I suspect that might be a bit too dated for competetive battling now. Any suggestions?
I should be around most of the evening, and I'd appreciate any help or guidance. =)
