Luxray
Now that Luxray can learn Magnet Rise in Platinum, could it not arguably become a more useful Pokemon? I adore Luxray, but it's a real hardship to have sometimes because its Speed is so dismal >_> However, If I were to EV train it in Attack and Speed, could it not potentially outrun some of its Ground-type enemies and Magnet Rise to safety?
(Of course, there's still the attacks to consider, but if I remember correctly, Luxray can have Ice Fang bred onto it, which hits super-effective on Ground types.)
So, with that in mind, could Luxray become a potentially viable competitive Pokemon, and a larger threat to the UU environment? Or am I just making a fool of myself?
