Pokemon Report: DO NOT WANT
Stuffing around on IGN, I found this, a list of Pokemon that they cannot convince the writer to catch. I think it is hilarious-especially the part about Jynx.
Plus there's the fact that the Pokemon is just creepy as all get out. Look, I live in San Francisco, if I tried to capture every transvestite midget in racially offensive makeup I saw, I'd fill up my PC before the day was out!
Thinking of which, what Pokemon can't YOU be convinced to catch?
For me, Muk and Weezing. I really dislike those Pokemon-why exactly I don't really know. Oh wait, I remember-they evolve at high levels. Now, this isn't so much the problem with Tyranitar, who evolves at high levels, since it's cool and powerful. With Grimer, however, you're basically training a puddle of sludge to become a slightly larger puddle of sludge. Since I generally don't use puddles of sludge in Pokemon battles, I don't train Grimer, since upon evolution, I'll just stuff the thing into my PC box and never use it ever again unless I can give it a double-entendre for a nickname. That, and their base forms are at such low levels upon capture that I can't be bothered putting all that time into raising something to rot in my PC forever.
(Also, the other editions of that feature are pretty funny, too)
