Name Rating Fun

I've never been the biggest on naming my pokemon but I have always managed to find the process of naming to be rather fun. I was hoping to get peoples opinions on the names I pick.

this probably needs a cut so...

Machop- Shodan (first degree black belt)
Machoke- Sandan (third degree black belt)
Medicham- Takeon (an early form of Taekwondo, should be the last martial arts reference)
Pachurisu- Chimichang (as in chimichanga)
Psyduck- Retoddle
Wooper- BK Woper
Budew- Fu Xing (I wanted to name it Budwiser but then I remembered this name from Jay Leno)
Ponyta- Blitzqwik
Infernape- Enma (as in Monkey King Enma from Naruto)
Chingling- McChain
Uxie- Uke (I think this is a martial art term but I'm not 100%, it would either be the person taking or applying a technique)
Sneasel- Wolverine (I think I have also named one in G/S Tachi)
Bronzor- Talismoon
Staraptor- Scarly
Onix- Fonix (this one is an edit and I have yet to name my Onix this)

That's all on my Diamond, but I'd also be interested in hearing the names you give.

Edit: after taking a look at my old gold game, I found

Alakazam- Jagen (from Inuyasha)
Feraligator- Hydro
Voltorb- Volty
Nidorina- Nido-chan
Nidoran- Nido-san
Ursaring- Cavebear
Snorlax- Lefty (after a cat we had, may he Rest in Peace)
Wooper- Goober
Ponyta- Fire Epona
Sandshrew- Shendu (from Jacki Chan Adventures, who remembers that?)
Furret- Fang (after one of our cats)
Rhydon- Don
Primape- Dani (after my monkey like sister)
Charmeleon- Volvagia (from legend of zelda)
Gastly- Undertaker (of whom I am a fan)
Dragonair- Shenron (from DBZ)
