Drabble: The X-Files: Pudding: "Dessert."

“What are you doing?”
Mulder followed Scully into her kitchen after having stopped by for a moment.
“My mom’s having this 4th of July thing at her house tomorrow and she wanted me to make pudding cups,” Scully told him.
“Couldn’t you just buy some?”
“This is cheaper.”
“I’ll help. Here.”
Mulder took the bowl and spoon from her and began putting scoops into the plastic cups. She picked up the Cool Whip and added dollops on top of the pudding.
Her hand crossed in front of his to top a pudding just as he went to put pudding in a cup. The chocolate splattered on the back of her hand.
“Oh, shit, sorry,” he apologized.
“It’s all right.”
Scully reached for a towel, but he grabbed her pudding covered hand.
“I’ll get it. Here.”
Mulder lifted her hand closer to his face. She stared at him, frowning.
“Mulder...”
He licked the pudding from the back of her hand and she felt a sudden flutter in her stomach. Scully pulled her hand back and walked to the sink. She washed her hands.
“I liked my way better.”
She turned, water dripping from her hands, and cocked an eyebrow. “Me too.”
