Cheerwine

So I tried it...
My sip right out of the bottle basically said to me, "I am syrup." It had that cloying cherry flavor quality when drunk straight from the bottle. If I had been introduced to it when I was younger, even just eight or so years, I think I would have been fine with the flavor straight out of the bottle. It reminded me of a heavier version of Mountain Dew Code Red.
I poured it out into a 16 oz glass, no ice, and let it breathe a touch. I enjoyed the heady cherry aroma from sniffing it. Tasting it again, that cloying cherry flavor had disappeared, leaving behind a strong cherry taste. It had aftertones sort of like Ricola to it and pouring it I think lowered them. They do come back into your mouth after a while though, leaving an odd, light feeling of dull numbness to your tastebuds.

Overall? I don't think I would drink this that often from the bottle. I think that I would like to try out the other cherry sodas from Bevmo and Total Wine before coming back to Cheerwine.
