The Single's Awareness Day That Mattered
[So it's Valentine's Day, and the first official time that Paul has ever cared about this day's existence. Last year, he had quite an embarrassing date with his first love. One year later, that love is no more and Paul's been a lonely single ever since. It's always been regarded as a dumb holiday to him either way, but now he's actually feeling the depression of someone who's loved and lost.
And to make matters worse, he's pretty much been forced to spend his time outside and alone since his adopted family needed their alone-time to spend together, the majority of his friends also have dates... so there's really no way to get his mind off the loneliness. All he has are his Pokemon and the one strange egg he's had since Christmas (and was bred well before it) that still hasn't hatched yet. He's been told it isn't a bad egg, but the fact that it's taken this long to hatch is worrisome for Paul. He's got a long track record of fucking up, after all. He'd never forgive himself if he screwed over an unborn baby Pokemon's life.
So enjoy him sitting there with that massive cloud of depression hanging over him. But if you're also in the area, you might witness Paul's misery and woe turn into surprise and anxiety as all of a sudden... his egg begins to crack!]
