[Today, in the morning, you'll find Blue sitting on a rug at the beach, curled up with a book on pokemon evolution and a plate of various fruits.
Her pokemon are all lazing around her and she seems to have added a new member to her team - a Buneary that is hopping around happily, leaving an odd pattern of footprints in the sand]

[After slipping a book mark in the pages, she snaps the book shut so she can pay better attention to the conversation]
A lot of people dismiss evolution as a very simple matter of a pokemon's body maturing to give them greater strength. But if that's the case, why do some evolve and some do not? And then there are those who evolve through the use of items or processes such as trading - these items usually emit a certain energy that allows the pokemon to evolve. But how? And why do only some pokemon evolve through evolutionary stones or trading?
---oh sorry, I've seem to have gone off on a tangent.

Hey now, I appreciate the offer, but you don't need to hand-feed me, Blue!

I don't know Gold, you looked like you needed the help. Forget how to use your hands properly already?

...What is that thing
Twitchytail over here is living up to his nickname! Didn't Sapph chew apart one of those? Or maybe it was something else. He wasn't really paying strict attention to just what innocent Pokémon she was tearing to bits.]
