In which the recently hatched Deru terrorizes his trainer
Just a mile or so north of the CMA, a lot of noise has stirred up some of the Pokemon. A variety of flying pokemon take off, startled by another shout and a crash of tree branches and leaves. In a well-worn clearing, a battered tent lays in shambles next to a barely smoking campfire. All around are broken branches, over-turned camping gear and a scattering of various pokeballs. Suddenly a blur of blue and gray dashes by to the yelped and tired protests of a young man in white and blue. Monta attempts to scramble his way up a branch, moving out of the way just in time as a cranky little monozu smashes into the trunk where he had been standing, head first. "Deru! Stop, sit, stay, anything just cut it out." There is a growl from the young dragon hatchling as he head smashes the tree again, knocking Monta down onto his rear with a pained 'oof'.
