It’s a Poke’ Rodeo

Jan 11, 2011 22:29

[If you happen to be in the CMA today you will see a most unusual sight. Tabitha is currently ridding on top of a particularly enraged Shadow! Camerupt, his arms clasped around his neck (as much as he can) as it goes thrashing and crashing about into nearby trees. Tabitha doesn’t seem afraid at all; In fact, if you listen carefully you can hear him ( Read more... )

[Um, Tabitha. What. What the hell do you think you're doing, have you lost your mind -

...you're laughing. Of course you're laughing YOU HAVE CLEARLY LOST YOUR MIND oh for fuck's sake what in the good hell are his admins

Regardless, Maxie doesn't want his idiot of an admin to snap his neck trying to...do whatever it is he's doing, so he's going to contemplate the pros and cons of spamming Earthquake against that Camerupt for approximately half a second before he has his own Camerupt out. Because spamming Earthquake obviously fixes everything unless one is tag battling, and Maxie is not a good tag battle partner anyway, and there's not much else do be done about whatever the hell is happening here - and Maxie isn't one to stand by and be told that he's not able to do anything.

Here's hoping he doesn't break his idiot admin's neck in the process.]

[It's called having fun Maxie, you should try it sometime.... And riding an insane Camerupt was the embodiment of fun.

Tabitha is currently in the process of trying to pull the damn thing down and it would be surprised by his efforts if it was in a state to even notice, or care.

Those Earthquakes, however, shift the ground beneath it's very feet and cause it to trip up in it's tracks, crashing forward. Dust is flying up around the Camerupt where it landed, but it doesn't seem quite out just yet. The rage in it's face only intensifies. And Tabitha, poor Tabitha is hanging on for dear life. Though other than the dust he doesn't seem to mind that much. He hasn't noticed who is actually interfering at the moment.]

[He has plenty of fun, Tabitha!]

Damn it, get away from that thing already!

[Have. More. Earthquakes. Speaking of fun, Maxie's been training for a bit too long without any sort of actual battle; this is satisfying.]

[Sure he does.

Did someone just... say something? Oops, Tabitha got distracted so in that one moment he started to slip off. He gripped the Camerupt again, on of his hands landing on the poor monsters ear while the other had a more firm hold on it's neck. He uses this to swing himself back up, which might have been less successful if the Camerupt was actually paying attention to him anymore. Nope, he is more angry at the person currently spamming him with some earth.

Now the Pokemon is going to attempt to charge Maxie, though with the very ground around him in ruins it's not all that successful. His attention being diverted has done one more thing, Tabitha has now noticed Maxie]

Heey, Maxie. [He's totally calling from on top of that thing like he is the king of the rodeo or something.]

[Edmond is nearby, likely paralyzed in shock at the sight of all those damaged trees, but his Zangoose, Fang, races ahead of him. And it turns out that Fang is much quicker at understanding situations that his trainer is, so he makes straight for Mightyena.]

Top of the day to you. Please tell me that that beast has a Poké Ball.

This makes me kind of want to have a team account for Tabitha XD flame_one January 15 2011, 04:52:07 UTC
[Well Tabitha is just going to enjoy himself a rodeo over there, while the Pokemon do something a little more practical. Of course Tabitha is kind of stalling, but he is having far to much fun in the process.

Mightyena lets of a snort. He doesn't seem displeased with the Zangoose presence beyond his initial gruffness. He's just in serious tracker mode.]

Yep... Master dropped the ball and it rolled off somewhere...

[He keeps his noise towards the ground trying to sniff out that ball.]

I'll help you find it. Did you consider that it may not have fallen to the ground?

[Fang looks around... where could that ball have ended up?]

Sorry for the late tags. D: flame_one January 30 2011, 22:02:38 UTC
[Well no. He hadn't quite figured for that, but he was best at tracking and find stuff on the ground.]

Hmmph. Alright... I'm sure it must be on the ground... where else could it have fallen?

[In a tree maybe? With the force that ball was sent flying the ball could be nearly anywhere. And it happened to wedge itself between a hole in a a tree. It was low enough to be seen easily from the ground, but not quite on the ground itself.]
