[Usually, you would arrive in the Cental Meeting Area, right? Not this Ash. Instead, he’s in the Aurora Forest, looking very lost. But if you are there -- you might notice that even though Ash looks exactly the same as all of his other counterparts, it’s the inside that counts, right? For those who can find out what Ash is, you might notice that a part of him holds a Pokémon-like feeling.
And if you’re one of the Lake Trio, you may actually know that the Pokémon that lies inside, eclipsed with Ash’s soul is the Legendary Lake Guardian of Sinnoh, the Being of Willpower, Azelf.
The funny thing is that Ash doesn’t exactly realize that this is not Kanto just yet. In fact, he thinks that he might just either be lost, or-- well, mostly lost. However, the voice in his head reminds him, “Do not worry, Ash. You will find your way back home! We are both determined to see it through!”
And that voice is not just Ash‘s subconscious. However, since the young trainer is a complete idiot, he decides to answer aloud.]
Yeah, you’re right, A-- [He hesitates as he says that name, and laughs it off. If anyone found out that Azelf was residing in him, it would just lead into the two of them being kidnapped. That’s what Misty had told him, after all. What were her exact words again? “Ash, you idiot! If it weren’t me, you would’ve told the whole world, wouldn’t you?! You have to keep this a secret from everyone or else you’ll get kidnapped -- or even worse, experimented on!” Misty was always like that, but she was right. She always was, in situations like that. Ash gives off a sigh, before looking at his buddy, Pikachu to say (in human language, of course) :] C’mon, Pikachu! We got to find a way out of this forest and get to Pallet Town!
[Pikachu gives a reply of, “Pika-pika!” which translates to, “Of course!” Ash then gives a grin as he continues to run through the forest, while not knowing that arriving on the Island was a brand new adventure, and a brand new danger waiting ahead of him…
Either way, the only thing that was on Ash’s mind was going home to see his mother again and thank his Pokémon for all the hard work that they have done. And besides, it’s not like he’ll actually bump into anyone in a forest, right? Especially not someone from outside his world -- or even a duplicate of himself, right?
