Let the Music Play!

[If you are passing by the CMA, you'll catch an odd disco melody playing from nowhere. Even amidst the Shadow Pokémon rampage, a lone, thin man with a massive afro is gyrating back and forth with his four Ludicolo. He is singing off key.]

OooOOoh~ I want yoouuuuu~ Shake it, shake it, oooh yeaaah~!

[Feel free to interrupt his dance to show him

[He may or may not have been attracted to the music. What's going on, what's going on?]

[hasludicolos]

[Miror B moonwalks right into your path, Red. Feel free to stop,, collide into him or run him straight over.] Oooh yeah, I got that rhythm, shake it, shake i-

[monologing]

[Oh no, can't stop at the (not) breakneck speed he's going! Red will just bump into him before falling back.]

...!

[hasludicolos]

[The bump knocks Miror B into a flailing tizzy as he trips over his own heels and lands face flat in the sand.]

STOP THE MUSIC!!! [As muffled as it sounds, the mysterious music screeches to a halt. The Ludicolo shuffle over in alarm to help their trainer up. Still spilling sand from his huge hairdo, he points to Red.]

YOU! Hey, kid! Why'd you go and interrupt my groove!? Can't you see a dance master is at work?!

[monologing]

[Red will stand up slowly. While he's casually brushing sand off himself he finds himself getting reprimanded it seems. Now he feels bad.]

...'m sorry mister. Didn't mean to get in the way.

[hasludicolos]

[GAH! Niceness is super effective! Miror B is confused!]

HUH? Wha... I mean, that's better! Looks like you're not as rude like some other brats I know! FUO HO HO HO! [He places his hands on his hips as he laughs, sand still falling out of his afro.]

Hey, kid, you like to dance? I bet with that kinda head on your shoulders, you can pick up some smooth moves from yours truly! [He thumbs his chest.]

[monologing]

[Mom has taught Red well. He's kind of liking Miror B since he's rather cheerful. Wait, what's this about dancing?]

... ... ......Never tried dancing before or really watched. But I liked the music I heard! It was...different.

[hasludicolos]

WHAAAAAAAAAAT!? Aw, kid! [He puts both hands over his heart like he's been shot.] What kinda tragic, one-note life do you have?! It ain't the same just watching and trying those moves out with your own feet, y'know?! Dancing's supposed to be part of your SOUL!

[He points to Red again, right between the eyes.] BUT! With me right here, you still got hope! If you liked my snazzy, hip music, then I bet you got a fire-hot burning dance machine inside of ya! I'll turn you into a real disco fever champ! Whaddya say, kid?!

[monologing]

[-!! Was he doing something bad? He'll start to feel a little cross-eyed as he tries hard to stare at that pointed finger. It was kind of hard to keep up with this guy's excitement, but for some reason it sounded all sorts of awesome.]

"Disco fever champ"? ...would becoming one help with battles?

[hasludicolos]

[He spins once and poses.]

You can bet your lifelong dance shoes on it, buddy! There ain't nothing else like motivating your Pokémon with some sweet tunes and toe-tappin' dance moves! There'd be no thrill without music bringing you and your Pokémon together! [He makes a dramatic, heartwrenching pose. His Ludicolo all crowd around him in tears.]

[monologing]

[Dance shoes? Red wanted to point out he was merely wearing sneakers, but decided to keep quiet as Miror B continued to talk. Well he liked the idea of him and his pokemon enjoying music together. It'd be like the time he was up in Mount Silver, but better!]

...yeah, okay Mister. I'll do my best to try and learn what you can teach me! So don't cry!

[The Ludicolo wipe away their tears; they seem to like this boy. Miror B gets up from his pose and puts his hands on his hips.] FUO HO HO HO! Wonderful!!! Smart choice, kid! You're now an honorary member of Team Miror! All you gotta do is do as I say and you're shakin' your way up to the front of the world stage!

[He twirls again and gives Red a thumbs up pose.] You ready to get down?

[Red, what have you gotten yourself into...? |D;;;]

[monologing]

[This is so awesome. He's starting to feel that shounen spirit he used to have three years ago burning up! Kind of like when he got to battle that gym leader Ash. Plus it also helps how Miror B's pokemon weren't crying anymore. Crying pokemon dnw.]

...mm, I am! [Excited nod is a-go! Man, this boy has no idea what he's getting himself into. :|] I'm willing to learn anything I can to become a better trainer.

[hasludicolos]

YES, that's the kind of answer I'd expect! With that attitude, you'll be jiving away in no time!

[He shuffles back a bit to make some room.] Okay, buddy. Before you can pick up my moves, you gotta warm up. [He does a twirl.] Can't get to pro level unless you got the basics down, you dig? Let's loosen those stiff muscles, first. Ain't nothin' worse than tripping all over yourself on stage from crampin' up!

[He starts shaking his arms and legs out. He looks a lot like a boneless human being tugged by strings.] Aw, yeah, shake it! Give it a shot!

[monologing]

Alright!

[Red will eagerly watch Miror B and nod in anticipation. He was willing to start from the basics. After all, he didn't become Kanto's champ over nig- well maybe he did. :|a There's no concept of time back in first gen games.]

...shake it? Like this? [Red will attempt to mimic Miror B. Although he seems a bit stiff in comparison to Miror B's movement.]
