TYPE: WILD!
[ It’s about mid-afternoon on Awesome Island, and from if you’re watching closely, there seems to be a figure -- no, two figures, walking from the distance at the bottom of the hill up to the top. But who is it, do you ask?
If you guess Satoshi and Pikachu, then you’re correct! And it seems that the two of them are walking up a grassy hill with a confident smile on both of their faces, as if ready for a new journey.
And that new journey was about to begin…until their re-arrival on the Island. So, guess what? Satoshi’s back and ready for action! Not only that, there’s also some music playing while they’re walking up that hill, though they don’t really seem to notice it.
The only thing that dismays them about being on the Island?
… Actually, there’s not an answer for that! Satoshi loves traveling and even though this place isn’t the Isshu region that he was planning to head to next, it’s still somewhere, right? Perhaps he can capture some Pokémon and get some battles.
But are there even gyms on the Island? Um. There should at least be some sort of battling place in here, right?
Long version, short: Satoshi is back after a short disappearance and has finally finished the Pokémon League in the Suzuran tournament as well as went back home to his mother back in Masara Town- which is basically the end of the Diamond and Pearl season. The only thing that the Island is now experiencing -- is a musical glitch!
And if you're listening, you can probably hear this song playing in the background.
So, while traveling Awesome Island once again, Satoshi approaches you with a broad grin on his face. What do you do? ]
(OOC: In homage to the Pokémon FST soundtrack, “The Best of Pokémon: 1997-2010”, all posts must have some sort of background music playing - whether it be from the anime or games! Also, instrumentals from the anime openings and endings are also accepted. The background music may or may not be heard by your characters, it’s up to you to decide!
Also, this post is basically a canon update for Satoshi - he is now officially post-DP and has no Pokémon on him other than Pikachu. He can access his other Pokémon through a PC on the Island, but it is very unlikely that he will do it. I would also like to note that even though Satoshi is post-DP, he has not yet changed into his B/W clothes.
AND SINCE SATOSHI KNOWS ABOUT ISSHU - his Pokédex will contain names and types about the new Pokémon, but the actual information will not be there yet. Let’s just say this is a technical glitch on the Island’s part, derp. I’m happy to be back with my strongest muse…or at least my second-favorite version of him.)
