*Latias has taken the sudden snowstorm in the central meeting field as a sign to finally try and change into human form. Remembering what Zapdos told her, she lands on a stump, fists her hands and wishes as hard as she can. Unknowingly, she whispers under her breath*
I wish I could turn into a human!
*she waits a moment, then cracks open an eye. Nothing has changed, she looks exactly the same as before. Not deterred just yet, she tries it again. And again. And again. After about the thirtieth time, she finally gives up*
Wh-why? Why can't I do it? All the other legends could, why can't I?! D8
*she hangs her head, looking completely downcast. Her eyes fill with tears but do not spill, at least, not yet*
[ooc: I've always thought of the Latis as sort of demigods compared to other legends, which is why Latias can't speak human, and why she can't just wish herself human. Oh, and, because I've gotten lazy, I've decided to only italicise Latias' words when she talks to humans, but not when she talks to other pokemon]
