Listen to this, Garchomp; apparently, the Burned Tower in Johto was once home to Lugia, the God of the Seas, before it was mysteriously burned down. Three pokemon were said to have perished, but Ho-oh, the God of Life, reincarnated them into the three Beasts; Entei, Raikou and Suicune, and it has been their destiny to run across the lands ever since.
