Of course, she's the Being of Emotion, and being drawn to strong feelings quite easily is a normal occurrance. Mesprit maintains her distance though, but floats slowly towards the poor kid, whoever he is - there's no reason to make him even more unhappy by stealing what emotions he has left. She initially senses deep sadness and something very painful emanating from him. The guardian knows those feelings well, and a feeling of sympathy begins to mask her own sorrows and regret...not that it would really work, but it's worth trying.
Of course, telepathy is a-go~!] ...Um, excuse me... Are you okay?
[Stupid question, yes. Oh, she's still Naive in nature, even now.]

[Oh, if only she were able to change back to her human forme! Mesprit would probably be hugging him were it not for this curse. She never was one to enjoy sadness, but the Being of Emotion knows that sadness will soon pass. Surely whatever happened to him wasn't that bad,... was it?]
