ITP: TECHNICAL MALFUNCTIONS OF THE LULZY KIND

[Now that the mayhem and destruction is over, have a newbie Red wandering around the CMA with a Pokédex in hand. It seems while everything was going on she's noticed that there were a ton of new Pokémon she'd never seen before. And so like any good curious trainer, she's taken it out to look up information on those johto, sinnoh, hoenn new Pokémon

[My Pokedex is still ringing. Um, she will pick it up and attempt to answer?]

[Huh? That's someones voice on the other end. So he holds it up a little awkwardly like a phone, wondering why the heck his pokedex was acting like a cellphone]

[;laksdjf;alkgj THAT IS SO WEIRD. A POKEDEX SHOULDN'T DO THAT. AHHHH. NOW I WILL HAVE TO SHOW EVERYONE MY SOCIAL FAIL.]

I'm...sorry. But I think my Pokedex called the wrong number. [Or wait.] N-No, I mean- Who is this?

[IKR? This is just too weird.]

Ah, this is Jun. Who are you?

[Sob uses it like a cellphone]

...Red. [Awkward but she needs answers so.] By chance, are you answering on a phone of some kind, Jun?

[Red? He remembers meeting a guy named Red, once a long time ago. But the voice on the other end sounds more female than his did. Huh.]

Uh, no actually. For some reason my Pokedex is acting like a phone.

[pause] ...I'm going to guess that yours is too, right?

[trapion]

[UH.

...................WELL SHE IS ANSWERING YOU ON IT JUN. Not that he can probably see that.]

... ... ... Yeah, it is.

[The silence of confirmation. This is not how you normally meet people, man.]

...So, any idea why the Pokedexes can suddenly act like phones now?

[So very awkward.

No clue. I only checked my pokedex today after seeing some new pokemon in the area when this started to happen. It...might be my fault though.

[OH IT COULD NEVER BE A GIRL'S FAULT FOR ANYTHING. THAT IS JUN'S MOTTO. So...he's kind of pretty much waving it off]

Don't worry about it, I'm sure it's not your fault. Probably has something to do with the island or other. It's always having weird stuff happen all the time.

[That's a convenient excuse.]

You mean like what was going on with those battles? [Or something else?]

[awesome_trainer]

[Urk. He'd rather not think about those battles actually, seeing as he was one of the brainwashed people around earlier.]

Yeah, kind of like that. The island kind of has a will of its own and sort of does whatever it wants. It probably decided to temporarily mess with the Pokedexes or something.

[Sorry but she arrived here during all of that and still has no idea what really went on.]

The island is alive?

Yeah. Once I even heard it talk. [And what a weird day that was. >_>]
