[Here's a rare scene--Gold of all people is sitting around on the beach. It's been awhile and he looks a little roughed up, clothes and skin a little ashy for some unknown reason. That doesn't really seem to be the main problem though, he's standing and trying to adjust his hat, though his movements are awkward and he ends up fumbling with the cap before it falls to the sand. He's getting steadily more flustered as he crouches down to paw at the hat, struggling to grip it and figure out what's wrong. Ho-Oh is preening nearby, peering at his trainer curiously.
