*The smiling egg is completely helpless against the earthquake, and is shaken and tossed around by the tremors as if it were nothing.
Amazingly enough it somehow manages to survive through it without any clear damage, eventually just rolling to a stop on the ground. It doesn't seem too cheerful now, however - the smiling side of it isn't visible after all the rolling.*
[Looker, who dove to the ground in a not-at-all-over-the-top fashion as soon as the earthquake began, rises back to his feet. He spots the egg and runs over to it, picking it up and examining it.]
*It's covered in dust, dirt and several blades of grass, but otherwise it seems okay. The blemishes on it obscure the smiling for the most part, but it's still visible if you look very closely.*
[Looker just manages to make out the smile on the shell.]
Oh! The smiling egg? Very far you are, from the bush where I last was leaving you. Outside in a earthquake, it is being very unsafe.
[He takes out a small washcloth from one of this trenchcoat's pockets and starts rubbing the egg's shell with it, trying to clean off all the dirt and dust.]
*His efforts do help clear the egg up a fair bit, and also serves to make it happy once more! One can only assume that the quake or some other person must've brought it away from the bush. It doesn't seem to mind, either way - perhaps the egg likes you, Looker.*
