One would assume. There are certainly enough Flying-types, at the least, that one of them would have to have tried.

Judging by the fact that I've met someone who looks almost exactly like Red with Pokemon from Sinnoh, I think this is another universe entirely. I think a Pokemon would need to be able to warp space and time to get us out.
