[It isn't every day an entire carnival pops up overnight outside one's cafe, so you can probably imagine Cress's surprise when he opened the door to find just that. Wasn't there only one roller coaster at Lake WTF yesterday? And the Ferris Wheel wasn't decorated like that before... nor was it adjacent to a Love Tunnel

[And this teen is loving it. Or, well, he would, if he had any recollection as to when he'd ever decided he loved it. When had he ever gone on one to decide that? It was just a wheel that went around and up, right? So it's nothing special. this is obviously a more pressing issue then of where is he at the moment

Which is why he's standing in front of it, not quite sure how to approach it since it appears it requires two people and he doesn't even know one (besides the dragon in the ball he carries around, anyways, and that's definitely too big).]

[Gengar, chilling in his arms here, just grumbles a little as usual.]

[Buddy? Was he talking to the weird thing in his arms, or to him? Uhhhh. Be strong, dude, be strong.]

I... Um, would you mind if I joined you two on it? I don't think I've ever been on something like this.

[Because he's not sure if you're talking to him or the creature. And he's not sure about not having gone on it before, but he's kind of irrationally excited about it.]

[He just nods, walking up to it and getting on, waiting for the other.]

I wonder how high it will go, do you think we could see all of the world from on top of it?

At least the island I think! We'll see it, when we're right at the top.

[Morty just grins, setting Gengar up on the hand rail so he could see out the window too.]

I don't know if anyone made a map of it, but I can point some stuff out, sure.

[Aaand the ride begins moving, Gengar jumping up a little in surprise.]

Th-thank you. I don't remember ever coming to an island with such a large amusement park. [Then again, he doesn't remember a lot.]

I was walking back to my gym when I was just suddenly here.

Oh. I think I was walking, too, but I can't remember to where or why. I was with a white dragon called Reshiram at the time.

[Pausing, give him a second.] There was something about this wheel that drew me to it other than its size, but that's a mystery as well.

Well it's a ferris wheel. They're fun, makes me feel like a little kid again.

[He laughs a little.]
