[It isn't every day an entire carnival pops up overnight outside one's cafe, so you can probably imagine Cress's surprise when he opened the door to find just that. Wasn't there only one roller coaster at Lake WTF yesterday? And the Ferris Wheel wasn't decorated like that before... nor was it adjacent to a Love Tunnel

... This is tame compared to my usual schedule, yes, but isn't for a purpose beyond entertainment.

[Red's been a thrill-seeker for a long time. Partly because he has to be able to survive anything the Project throws at him (or so he thinks) and partly because it's just... His nature.]

Hah, well said. Wouldn't want you to spend all your time trainin'. [Red is still a kid. Young adult. Whatever. He should still have some fun!]

... I can barely remember the last time I took a day off of training... [Through injuries and illnesses, come hell or high water, he has been training constantly for years. Except for the day he got kidnapped, but he was drugged and it doesn't count because he barely remembers it.

[Archie works the same way - though he's usually working on training himself rather than his Pokemon.] Ah, I see. Well, you can make up for lost time now, right?

[This place has been remarkably good to all of them, hasn't it? Sure, Geechisu's here, but he can't do much can he? About the only issue Archie has is that his rival isn't here, but there is the other version of Maxie...] Yeah, I know what you mean. [Though he's actually been training more here.]

... You look happy. [He thinks the fact you finally got him to take a day off from training might have something to do with it, but he'll keep quiet as he gets into the car.]

[it's a ROLLER COASTER and he'll get to ride it for the first time ever. What's not to like? That and as Red guessed it, Blue's ecstatic Red is taking a day away from training. Besides that, one day wouldn't hurt, right? He's getting himself seated next to Red.]

I haven't ridden a Carnival ride, to be honest.
