Belated reflecting on our 2nd anniversary

[Paul's at the beach again, but he isn't training is Pokemon or anything. He's sitting by the shoreline with Torterra chilling with him on the left side and Weavile on the right. Evidently they've been sitting there for several hours, with Paul's cheeks looking pretty red even though he was smart enough to use sunscreen at the beginning of the day

... would've been a lot sooner if there was a way to find closure to the whole thing. But... it doesn't matter now.

Right. Though I wonder how he would've matched up against you all in a battle... seeing as he was the one who inspired me to train harder here, and at least Gold admitted I was the one who initially drove him to get stronger...

... He had a Lugia already when he came here. The rest of his team's levels were higher than anything I'd ever seen outside of Red... naturally, his team was similar to yours. When we met, the first thing we did was battle two-on-two right here. We tied, but only because he didn't know about Sinnoh Pokemon.

...Why the hell did he have Lugia?

To be honest, I forgot how he got it... but the Gold of his world had Ho-Oh, too. Bear in mind his world and life history was much different from yours.
